In The Vines: An Immersive Experience

Roll up your sleeves and step into the vineyard for a guided, hands-on experience with growers Elise and Ken. You’ll learn the anatomy of a grapevine, see baby grape clusters forming on the vine, and take part in suckering, one of the very first vineyard jobs a “newbie” is trusted with.

After a seasonal vineyard tour, each guest will be paired with a vine of their own to do light suckering by hand. Come back later in the season to check on your vine and see how your work helped shape the 2026 vintage. Great wine begins not with big gestures, but with quiet, thoughtful work done by hand.

No experience necessary. We’re happy to welcome families! Children under 12 are free. Kindly email us ahead of time at info@elkhornpeak.com if you’ll be bringing children.

$75 per person. Ticket includes:

• An immersive vineyard tour led by grapegrowers and owners, Elise and Ken Nerlove
• A hands-on opportunity to sucker, shoot thin and leaf a grapevine
• Two glasses of wine
• A personal charcuterie plate to enjoy

Space is intentionally limited to no more than 40 guests to ensure a relaxed, intimate, hands-on experience in the vineyard. Advance purchase of tickets is required.

Schedule of Events

11:00 AM
Arrival & check-in. Grab a glass of wine and settle in.

11:15 AM
Guided vineyard tour with the grape growers. Learn the anatomy of a grapevine and watch a live demonstration of early-season vine care.

11:45 AM
Pair up with a vine and get your hands dirty! With farmers on hand to guide you and answer questions, you’ll try your hand at light suckering and leafing and experience vineyard work up close. This is also a great time for photos among the vines. Participation is optional! If you prefer to skip this part of the day, you’re welcome to relax in our outdoor seating area with a glass of wine.

12:15 PM – 1:00 PM
Relax in our outdoor seating area and enjoy your complimentary wines and personal charcuterie plate, surrounded by vineyard views.

1:00 PM
Departure. We’re happy to share restaurant or winery recommendations to round out your afternoon in Napa Valley.
